Advanced Metrics

Dart’s 41.9% pressure rate — 18 total pressures per PFF — was the highest in any game he started since his season debut against the Chargers. Despite that, both of his touchdown throws came from under pressure, and his passing grade was actually higher in those situations than when kept clean. Three big-time throws against two turnover-worthy plays summarizes his afternoon: the numbers were there, but so were the mistakes. PFF’s post-game grading held him responsible for eight of those 18 pressures, crediting the offensive line with allowing only 10.

Abdul Carter posted the best individual defensive performance of the game by PFF’s account: one sack, three hurries, a 17.4% pass rush win rate, and two forced fumbles. Brian Burns added three quarterback hits despite a 5.3% win rate. Tyrone Tracy carried New York’s ground game largely on his own; 49 of his 70 rushing yards came after contact and he forced three missed tackles on his 15 carries.

Von Miller’s sack of Dart was the milestone play of the afternoon. The pressure moved Miller to 136.5 career sacks, one past Jared Allen for sole possession of 12th on the NFL’s all-time list. He added two quarterback hits on the day.

Injury Report

Washington: WR Noah Brown (ribs) was ruled out at halftime after initially being listed as questionable with a back injury. LT Laremy Tunsil left twice — first with a back ailment, returned, then exited again with an oblique issue. DT Eddie Goldman underwent a concussion evaluation.

New York: Edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux missed a fourth consecutive game with a shoulder injury. QB Jaxson Dart was evaluated for a concussion after a designed run in the fourth quarter, cleared after two plays, and told reporters afterward he did not consider the hit significant.

Washington left East Rutherford at 4-10, their first win since October 5, 2025. The individual marker that aged best from the afternoon belonged to Miller — 136.5 career sacks, 12th all-time, recorded in a late-December game that carried no playoff weight for either team.
