New York Jets vs Jacksonville Jaguars Match Player Stats (Dec 14, 2025)

Final Score: Jacksonville Jaguars 48, New York Jets 20 | Week 15 | EverBank Stadium, Jacksonville, FL | December 14, 2025 | Attendance: 60,815 | TV: CBS

Trevor Lawrence threw five touchdown passes, ran for a sixth, and finished with a 136.7 passer rating in one of the most complete quarterback performances of the 2025 NFL season. The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the New York Jets 48-20 on December 14, 2025, extending their winning streak to five games and reaching 10 wins for just the second time in 18 seasons.

New York started Brady Cook at quarterback โ€” the first undrafted rookie to start for the Jets since Bill Demory in 1973 โ€” after Tyrod Taylor (groin) and Justin Fields (knee) were both ruled out. Cook completed 22 of 33 passes for 176 yards, threw three interceptions, and had no answer for a Jacksonville defense that held Breece Hall to 23 yards on 12 carries. The Jaguars led 31-10 at halftime and scored on their first three possessions for the first time since 1998.

Injuries and Ejection

New York Jets: S Tony Adams (groin), S Isaiah Oliver (knee), and DL Eric Watts (concussion) all left during the game. DT Khalen Saunders was ejected in the third quarter for making contact with an official during the extra point attempt following a Jacksonville touchdown. Saunders, who had spent the first two months of the 2025 season with the Jaguars before his release in mid-November, disputed the call after the game.

Jacksonville Jaguars: RB Bhayshul Tuten (finger) and DE Danny Striggow (ankle) both left the game; Striggow was ruled out. Lawrence’s right index finger injury did not affect his play.

Lawrence’s 136.7 passer rating on December 14, 2025, was the best single-game mark of his five-year NFL career. He went without a turnover for the third consecutive game, accounted for all six of Jacksonville’s offensive touchdowns, and led the Jaguars in rushing yards โ€” all in the same afternoon. New York held the ball for six more minutes than Jacksonville and still gave up 48 points. That gap between possession time and points allowed tells the story of how thoroughly the Jets’ defense broke down. Jacksonville went 4-for-6 in the red zone; the Jets managed 1-for-2 and spent most of the second half chasing a deficit that never got smaller than 21.
